What is the ToGER
CRE?
The Centre of Research
Excellence (CRE) in Translation of Genetic Eye
Research (ToGER) commenced in 2012. Funded by the
National Health and Medical Research Council
(NHMRC), the ToGER CRE aims
to create a consolidated and collaborative gene
discovery centre for blinding eye diseases, with
the ultimate goal of translating new research
findings into improved outcomes for eye
health.
